FIRE BY NIGHT

By Glenn H. Jackson

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

WHAT JESUS DID FOR US IS FAR BEYOND THE SCOPE OF HUMAN UNDERSTANDING

Words of prophecy:

*____There is great power [faith, love, wisdom, revelation] continually released through the life of the one who "abides" in the place of revelation concerning the "finished" work [at Calvary] of My Dear Son.

____...."He who believes in Me [who cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me] as the Scripture has said, from his innermost being shall flow [continuously] springs and rivers of living water".... John 7:38 NASB

...."For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.

And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]".... Romans 8:14-19 The Amplified Translation

____What Jesus did for us is FAR BEYOND the scope of human understanding - and there are no words [at least in this sphere of existence] that can even begin to properly express the magnitude of the Love that He poured out on our behalf at Calvary. Therefore, it is very important for every child of God to set themselves each day to always keep the Cross and the Resurrection in the forefront of their thinking - and, in the process, continually be found "seeking first the Kingdom" from the position of ALL that we are in Him. For it is only in this way [a steadfast faith and obedience] that we can even begin to thank Him and honour Him and praise Him in the manner which He deserves.

...."prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY".... 1 Peter 1:13-16 NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

____Lord Jesus, we thank You and praise You for ALL that You have done for us. We love You and we set ourselves to abide [dwell] in the place of continual thanksgiving towards both You and the Father - through a steadfast faith, love and obedience. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Your holy Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
