I had a vision of the Bride of Christ. She had been lulled to sleep by bad reports and negative news and hard circumstances. But I saw the Lord waking her up. She sat up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. He opened her eyes to see who she was in Him. He had a smile on His Face, and she saw that He was not worried one bit about the happenings in the world for He has seen the end from the beginning.

The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. The devil and his demons are trespassers and they are already defeated at the Cross. Know this, Child of God. The Lord sits in the heavens and laughs at the enemy for everything that was prophesied is happening. Nothing has taken your Abba Father by surprise and He has already made a way where there seems to be no way.

NOW is the time to wake up and see who you are in Christ Jesus and to take back your authority and place of honor as the end times play out. You are MORE than a conqueror through Him who loves you! You carry HIS FIERY DUNAMIS POWER in your heart. I see the Bride of Christ DRIPPING with this Fire, this Anointing for such a time as this, leaving trails of Fire behind her and breaking and destroying  every yoke of bondage!

"Beloved. My Bride, My Bride, wake up, wake up to the Power and Authority I have given you. I am sending the Winds of the Spirit to blow upon you and to let you know I have never left your side. The Breath of God, the Ruach Hakodesh, is the Gentle Breeze upon your face. I am reviving you, My Child, with Winds of Glory. Let not the lies of the enemy lull you to sleep. Agree with Me, My Child and with My Word. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. You are not alone.

"Now is your time, Beloved. Now is the time to rise up and shake off the dust of the world. Though the enemy thinks he has the upper hand, this is not what My Word says to you. Behold I have given YOU authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy, and NOTHING shall be any means harm you. You have been born for such a time as this.

"I am not wringing My hands in the heavens, Beloved. I am not worried. So why do  you, My Bride? Why is your heart so troubled and afraid? I am He who sits in the heavens and laughs at the enemy for he shall be made a laughingstock.  I am He who sees the end from the beginning. I sit upon My Royal Throne and you are seated with Me.

"My Anointing is upon you. It falls from My Head onto yours. You are DRIPPING with the Fire of your God. Do you trust Me, Dear One? Do you truly believe My Word? Do not shrink back from fear of those things coming upon the earth. But RISE UP in the Power of My Might.

"I am releasing you, My Warrior Bride. You are well equipped with EVERY spiritual weapon. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal but MIGHTY through your God for the pulling down of strongholds. This is your time.

" Hear the Voice of your Beloved calling. "Awake awake, Oh Sleeper. Awake, My beautiful One, rise up and come away!" The Glory of the Lord is upon you! Cast down the thoughts of fear and defeat. Release the POWER within you! It is Dunamis Power from on High. It is not for a "special" few but for every one who is born again. Arise and shine, Oh sons and daughters!

"You are baptized with Holy FIRE! I came to send FIRE to the earth and it is already kindled! It is Miracle Working Power to defeat EVERY plan of the enemy! My Power in you shall bring forth Divine Justice and Recompense.

"The same Arm that is under your head is the same Mighty Arm that shall establish My rule. My Reward is with Me, and My Recompense accompanies Me! My Anointing in you and upon you shall destroy every yoke!"

DUNAMIS: Strongs Greek 1411:  Miraculous power, might, strength; Physical power, force, might, ability, efficacy, energy, Powerful deeds, deeds showing (physical) power, marvelous works. Brings Divine justice and recompense. Ability to perform; for the believer, power to achieve by applying the Lord's inherent abilities.

RECOMPENSE: Strong's Hebrew 6468: work, recompense, reward, wages. To pay back for injuries suffered. To give something to by way of compensation (as for a service rendered or damage incurred)

Romans 13:11

"And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.”

Ephesians 5:14

"So it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” 15 Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk, not as unwise but as wise 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Song of Solomon 2:6

"His left Hand is under my head, And His Right Hand embraces me.”

Song of Solomon 4:16

"Awake, O north Wind, and come, O south Wind! Blow upon my garden, let its spices flow. Let my Beloved come to His garden, and eat its choicest fruits.”

John 3:7

"Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again.’ 8The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Psalm 2:4

"He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision." (make them laughing stock)

Isaiah 40:10

"Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and His arm establishes His rule. His reward is with Him, and His recompense accompanies Him."

Scripture describes our eternal rewards in terms of an inheritance and responsibility. These rewards are symbolized in Scripture as crowns.

The Bible says these crowns will be our badges of honor reflecting glory upon Christ, Who worked through us to achieve the good works if our life. We will acknowledge His sovereignty by casting our crowns at His feet while we worship Him in Heaven:

Rev. 4:9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, to Him who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and will worship Him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne, and say,

“Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Altogether, the Bible mentions five crowns promised to believers for our obedience to Christ while on Earth:

• The Crown of Victory

1 Cor. 9:24 to 27: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

This reward will be given to all believers who run the race to win. Who discipline the flesh to make it their slave so they will be able to serve the Lord.  Again, note that we can only achieve this by the power of the Holy Spirit, so the reward is ultimately accomplished in God’s power, not ours.

 • The Crown of Rejoicing

1 Thess. 2:19 For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming?

1 Thess. 2:20 For you are our glory and joy.

Phil. 4:1 Therefore, my brothers, whom I long for, my joy and crown, that is how you should stand firm in the Lord, dear friends!

This reward will go to those who have witnessed to others and who have built up the church (eg. by teaching, service, etc.).

• The Crown of Life

James 1:12: Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

At first glance, it may appear that the “crown of life” refers to eternal life.  That cannot be the case, however, as that would contradict many other Scriptures that clearly state that eternal life comes by faith alone in Christ alone, and which is given as a gift and not by works (eg. Ephesians 2:8-9).  Instead, this crown is given to those who faithfully persevere trials the Lord will put them through.  Once again, we can only persevere such trials and tribulations by God’s power in us (1 Peter 1:5-7).

• The Crown of Righteousness

2 Tim. 4:8:  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

This verse does not refer to righteousness we achieve by works, as Scripture makes clear that our righteousness is found only in the imputed righteousness of Christ (eg. Romans 5:19).  Rather, this reward is given to those who eagerly await the appearing of the Lord.  As believers, we should always be expectantly looking for the return of our Lord.

John Calvin put it this way:

This is a singular mark which he employs in describing believers. And, indeed, wherever faith is strong, it will not permit their minds to fall asleep in this world, but will elevate them to the hope of the last resurrection. His meaning therefore is, that all who are so much devoted to the world, and who love so much this fleeting life, as not to care about the coming of Christ, and not to be moved by any desire of it, deprive themselves of immortal glory. Woe to our stupidity, therefore, which exercises such power over us, that we never think seriously about the coming of Christ, to which we ought to give our whole attention.

• The Crown of Glory

1 Peter 5:1: To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings who also will share in the glory to be revealed: 2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; 3 not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

This is a reward for the elders the Lord has placed in authority in His church.

It’s an exhortation as well as an incentive for the elders to rule as the Lord has directed.

These crowns collectively represent our tangible rewards, which we receive in the Kingdom:

• Treasures in heaven.  This was mentioned earlier from Matthew 6.  The treasures are not described for us, although they definitely would include the crowns previously mentioned.

• Ruling with Christ.  There will be rewards for our obedience that will include ruling with Christ in some capacity.  Several Scriptures mention this (eg. Luke 19:17-19, Revelation 2:26-27).  Matthew 25 is representative of these passages.

We are merely Christ’s slaves, meaning we are to do the will of our Master.  We can only do His will in the power of the Spirit.  In doing so, God promises He will reward our obedience of being faithful now, by giving us even greater responsibilities when we rule with Christ later.

Small Things Become Big Things

By Greg Laurie

“If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities”

—Luke 16:10

I read about a study that a business group conducted on infidelity in the workplace. Not surprisingly, they concluded that extramarital affairs in the workplace ultimately led to breakdowns in other areas of life.

In other words, if people were being unfaithful to their spouses, they also would pad their business expenses and cut corners in other areas of their jobs. It makes sense, doesn’t it? If someone is willing to take down one wall, then why not kick down other walls too?

Small things become big things. If you’re willing to cheat on a test in school, then will you also lie on your résumé? And if you’re willing to cheat in school and lie on your résumé, then in what other areas will you be willing to cheat?

Little compromises turn into big problems. Little things turn into big things.

We don’t think about this sometimes. We’ll say, “It’s all right. This is just a minor infraction.” But we’re not thinking about the repercussions yet.

In the Bible we find story after story of lifelong repercussions that came as a result of a single decision. Adam ate of the forbidden fruit, and it cost him paradise. Esau compromised for a single meal and lost his birthright. Samson’s sexual compromises cost him his strength, his eyes, and ultimately his life.

Are there some small areas where you’re making compromises now?

Deal with those, because the Lord is revealing them for your own good. Little compromises turn into big problems. Jesus said, “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities” (Luke 16:10 NLT).

In a single moment in time, you can make a decision that affects your entire life.

"Pioneers of His Heart: Focus on Your Destination"

By Nellie O’Hara

Stay Focused

Recently, I had a dream which came as a series of scenes. First (in my dream), I saw myself at what looked like the White House, but it was not the White House. I was passing a woman in the sky, as she was in a helicopter with two secret service men. (I think I must have just been in the air.) I was thinking to myself, She can't wave to me, as she is extremely focused on where she is going. But I knew she saw me as we passed each other in the sky.

I heard the Lord say in this scene, "Know the lane that you are in. Know the place where I have positioned you. Stay focused on what I am showing you to do, and I have others staying focused on what I am showing them. Guard your hearts in this place against offense. Do not allow offense to enter in, as we are focusing now on a great moment in history, as the Church overcomes this battle.”

The scene then changed.

Adventure Into the Unknown

I was inside a ship. Everyone on this ship was out to discover new land. There was a great unspoken (and totally understood) unity between all of us. The ship stopped and we had to get out and start walking to our next destination.

The terrain was actually beautiful as we walked! We were told by a broadcast message that we could only take what we could carry. I thought to myself, I didn't really need that stuff anyway. I knew what I could carry.

I heard the Lord say in this scene, "I am calling you into deeper places in My Spirit, where you have never been before. I am extending an invitation. Think it not strange, for I have forged you in the fire and prepared you in trials and tribulations. And a depth, width and height of My anointing and glory has been formed inside of you, all the while you journeyed through the times of disappointment, betrayal and loss.

"You carry an authority that the enemy must bow down to, and you carry greater authority than you know.

"You ran to Me and made more room for Me, and there is a fire burning inside of you. I will take what the enemy meant for evil and I will vindicate you with MY power and pull you into Me – into those deeper places, and you will use that authority to gain great territory and new land.”

Again, the scene changed.

A Beautiful Fleet of Ships and a City in a Cloud

Then I looked to my right, over all the beautiful scenery, and saw the most beautiful fleet of ships with the most beautiful sails. They were coming to discover new land. There was such excitement and wonder in everyone's hearts as the ships came closer to land.

As we were walking, I saw, far ahead into the distance, a city coming out of a cloud. I saw a quarter of the city and I saw the road to the city. It was the most beautiful place we were headed to.

I hear the Lord say, "Focus on your destination in this time and in this hour. Keep your eyes focused on what you see, in revelation and in My Word and through My Spirit. There is much land still to discover and to take, and you shall surely overcome. You will overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. You will battle with the tools I have given you to win, and you shall surely take that land.”

The scene changed once more.

The Song of the Overcomer and the Pioneers of His Heart

We were in a castle (sort of like a ruin), and here we were resting. Many of us were together singing the most beautiful songs. We all knew the words; they were songs of our land and of rejoicing. It was as if they had been passed down from generation to generation.

I remember looking out the castle window and noticing a group of people who were getting ready to go on (to keep going on) to discover new lands. There seemed to be a timing on this group that was now going out. It was like people were going out in waves, and it was this group's turn to head out – to go even farther than any had gone before.

The feeling was euphoric. It was as if they were true pioneers. However, it seemed to be a stealth operation with very great significance and importance. They all knew their place and what they were doing and when to go without speaking. It was 'heart to heart' and 'spirit to spirit.’

"Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, 'We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it.'" (Numbers 13:30)

The Invitation

Together, we are accepting this invitation and, as in my dream, it is a beautiful journey. It is a journey that comes from being in that intimate, secret place with Him and allowing Him to woo us into new places as we are ready.

We have responded to the call of intercession, having been equipped by the Lord and utilizing every tool He has taught us to use. We sing the song of the overcomer and have become totally focused on what God has asked us to do, no longer allowing the spirit of distraction any room.

I heard the Lord say, "Seek Me for what I have written on your scroll before the foundations of the world. Do not be distracted with all the rest – the mirage of lies and greed and self-seeking agendas. I am the Author of your life. You were born for such a time as this. Draw in and draw close and inquire of Me.”

"Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were appointed for me, when as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape]." (Psalm 139:16)

A Prayer for the Journey Ahead

Father, I pray for every person reading this today, as they journey on the road You have for them, that they will know they are discovering new places in You, and that as they overcome every obstacle, they will know the authority they carry and are gaining.

Father, we praise You that, for such a time as this, we are traveling together into deeper places of intercession, where Heaven is invading Earth and the glory of the Lord is covering the earth.

Lord, I thank You that we are in a safe place with You, and in You, we live and move and have our being, in Jesus' name!

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       "Opinions" [mind-sets] divide, if held to above My Word, and are the spontaneous fruit of the workings of the "spirit of the world" [spirits of antichrist, spirits of Babylon etc.].

"opinion" - a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty [in this case, a thought or mind-set rooted in the soul {mind, will emotions} - devoid of "revelation"]; a personal view, attitude, or appraisal; a conclusion or judgement held with confidence but falling short of positive [revelation] knowledge; a prevailing sentiment; an evaluation;

Latin: "opinare" - to think;

...."Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God"... 1 Corinthians 2:12 NASB

Colossians 3:2

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Think Up, Child!

Some things are easier said than done, and today’s verse is a prime example. Paul instructs us to set our minds on things above, but the things of this earth are constantly in our face, screaming for our attention. It takes incredible self-discipline to “set our hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God” (Col. 3:1 NIV). But friend, God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us follow this instruction. Be intentional about your environment.

For example, listen to music that reminds you of Christ’s love, power, and faithfulness. Watch programs that are faith-based. Be careful of the company you keep and the conversations you engage in. Devote time to personal worship, prayer, and Bible study. Peace is yours, child of God, as you take your mind off your problems, and instead, set your mind on Jesus.

Over the past two months, we’ve looked at Paul’s letters to the Ephesians and Philippians. This month, our focus will be in his letter to the Colossians. This is another one of Paul’s “prison letters.” It is dated during Paul’s first imprisonment in Rome in A.D. 60. At that time, there was a lot of empty human philosophy being taught. Sound familiar? Paul’s goal was to exalt Christ as the very image of God, being one who contained all the fullness of God and was completely adequate in all ways and for all things. As Christ-followers, it is imperative that we proclaim the all-sufficiency of Jesus Christ and His relevance in our culture. He is our answer for everything.

Flesh And Blood Cannot Inherit My Kingdom

By Russ Walden

The Father says today, flesh and blood cannot inherit My kingdom – yet I call you an inheritor. As I Am in the heavens, so are you on the earth. You are geographically fixed, Beloved, but you are located in heavenly places in Christ. This is where ruling and reigning originate and where supply flows, healing comes, and transformation pours forth. This is your privilege and your responsibility in the life, territory, and jurisdiction I have given you as a new creation in Christ.

I have placed you in your life as I placed Adam in the garden – to tend and to keep that which I’ve committed to your charge. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. Disdain the fruitage of the knowledge of good and evil and partake to the full of the Tree of life amid the garden you are. I Am that tree, and I Am that vine. I Am vining Myself in you and branching Myself in you and others until My glory fills the earth as the water covers the sea.

This is your heritage, says God. This is the estate I have set you in as a king and a priest before My throne. Know it and accept it as the most basic truth of your existence. No more aimlessness. No more emptiness. No more deficit, downturn, or sickness, for these things do not originate in Me, and I Am in you, and you are in Me. Sickness? It lifts and dissipates, bringing health and vitality. Sorrow or sighing? They flee away, giving way to joy unspeakable and full of glory. Shortcoming? Lack?

Never are they named in your journey from this day forward, for I Am the Jehovah-Jireh in your wilderness providing the ram for the sacrifice that I might be your all-in-all. I Am the ram caught in the thicket of your situation that you might be the son, the daughter, the child of the Highest with the diadem of rule in your right hand and the robe of divine entitlement on your shoulders. This isn’t always what you’ve been taught, but it is what I paid for on your behalf on the Cross, so accept and receive all that I’ve made possible and you will see in this life the full dividend of My promise completely manifest in your life.

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

Words of prophecy:

*____To all those held captive by a "spirit of stubbornness": fast, pray and obey - and perfect liberty shall be forthcoming.

"stubbornness" - obstinate; fixed or set in purpose or opinion [in this case, in opposition to the Will of God - both for themselves and others];

...."Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit".... 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 NASB

____ Stubbornness in the natural is a "counterfeit" of a divine perseverance and persistence - which is empowered by the S[s]pirit of faith and the S[s]pirit of patience. Stubbornness in the natural holds to one's own will [self-agenda] through fear and pride, while divine perseverance and persistence [patience] is always the spontaneous fruit of a heart that is "wholly given" to the Will of God.

____...."For He [God] established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers that they should teach them to their children, That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born, that they may arise and tell them to their children, that they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments, and not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not prepare its heart and whose spirit was not faithful to God".... Psalms 78:5-8 NASB

...."You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as your self".... Luke 10:27 NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

____ Father, we thank You and praise You that, in Christ, we have been delivered from all rebellion - and the stubbornness that is its spontaneous fruit. And we declare it DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. To use a reading plan, just visit the daily reading page to see your daily reading.
