THE TURBULENCE IS GREAT

By Maili Super

THE TURBULENCE IS GREAT  BUT YOU ARE GOING TO FLY ABOVE IT

This morning while praying I heard "homeward bound"  I felt the Lord was saying that so many of us are living out the turbulence of the flight to our promise.

The Lord was showing me this was like being on an airplane that experiences turbulence the plane both rises and falls in altitude while it navigates the wind patterns.

I felt the Lord was saying many of His children are experiencing turbulence as they and their prayers were being tested against the winds of change.  The enemy is blowing rage, fear, and old hurts to try to weigh us down from farther advancement.  The Lord is saying toss that old baggage into the wind and watch how far it will fall away from you.

The enemy is doing this in an attempt to keep us from flying above the storm cell forming.  If we can just get enough altitude then we will see below what was causing so much turbulence, was because we are almost to our destination.  The enemy would like this storm to be so fierce that we miss our destination, we abort our mission, or that we bail out of the plane, for fear it is going down.

I hear the Lord saying, I assure you Child we are on our way.  We are on our way to the destiny you were promised, if you do not give up, or faint.  I have taken you through every storm of your life, this one is no different.  I knew this storm cloud of fear was building in the atmosphere, it did not take me by surprise.  I knew what the enemy was going to do, before he did it.  I have a plan of attack on him that will turn the storm he brought your way to turn upon himself, and cause the very confusion that he tried to bring upon you back onto his own camps.

I Will Deliver you, just as I did the Prophets of old.  I will make your life reflect mine, if you allow Me.  I will place healing in your hands, and words of fire come from your mouth, for I am no respecter of man.  What I did for them I will use you for in a GREATER Way.  Keep moving forward for the Prize is at hand.

Proverbs 10:25 (NKJV)

When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more,

But the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

REFLECTIONS OF THE FATHER'S HEART

By Glenn H. Jackson

[Exhortations From The Father]

*       This is a time of great "resurgence" for you, My beloved ones;

"resurgence" - to rise again;

Latin: "re" - again + "sugere" - to rise;

...."Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the Glory [manifested Presence] of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His Glory [manifested Presence] will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising".... Isaiah 60:1-3 NASB

"Why Your Simple Prayer Petitions Are Powerful"

By Helen Calder

What if there was one type of prayer that demonstrated the Fatherhood of God more than any other?

And what if that same type of prayer was being undervalued by us today, due to its seemingly humble approach?

An Encounter That Changed My Life

Many years ago, I had a life-defining encounter with God. It took place in a moment; I simply asked Him to teach me about faith. Immediately, in my mind's eye, I saw a small boy standing in front of a shop window. It was a candy store (or lolly shop), and there were rows upon rows of good things on the shelves.

As I looked at this child, I could see his great desire for what was in the window. Somehow I knew that in his back pocket, he had one small coin. Oh, how I felt the strength of his desire and the limitation of that coin!

Then suddenly, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, saying, "Same boy. The same amount of money in his pocket, but his father owns the store.”

A Powerful Change of Perspective

Immediately, my perspective changed. It was no longer about how much pocket money the child had, or how much he had earned. Now, it was all about his relationship with his father. He could go behind the counter, get up on his daddy's lap and ask for whatever his heart desired.

You see, when you bring the Father into the picture, everything changes. This is the greatness and the simplicity of the Gospel, and it is also true of prayer.

What We Can Ask God For

In a popular viewpoint, humble, request-type prayers are not compatible with our spiritual identity, position and authority – or are they?

I do agree that asking for what God has already given is unnecessary! And this is why we need to know what the Bible says. For we can receive what God has already given to us by faith, with thanksgiving. But we can also petition God, asking that He would bring about His plans, and for the resources that are needed for His will to be done (Matt. 6:10). We can ask Him about all of the things that concern us, and He delights to listen!

Paul wrote, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Phil. 4:6-7, NKJV).

8 Reasons Why a Prayer of Petition (Requesting in Prayer) Is Powerful

The foundational keys of prayer are simple; Jesus gave them to us, and they've never changed.

• Ask the Father (John 15:16)

• Ask in Jesus' name

  • Pray with thanksgiving (Phil. 4:6-7 and point number six below)

Here are eight compelling reasons why a prayer of petition (requesting or "asking" in prayer) is powerful.

  1. Your Prayer of Petition Is Biblical

By making simple requests in prayer, in Jesus' name, we are following the instruction of God's Word. There are numerous examples in the Old Testament, but let's jump straight to the Gospels. Jesus linked our destiny with the great privilege of asking the Father anything in His name!

"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." (John 15:16, NKJV)

In the original Greek, the verb "ask," here, can be translated to: "ask," "beg," "call for," "crave," "desire" and “require."

Paul spoke of the joy of making requests: "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy..." (Phil. 1:3-4, NKJV). He also mentioned making requests to God that he could visit the church in Rome (Rom. 1:10).

So, if Jesus initiated petition, and the apostles of the New Testament practiced it, then let us also honor it as a gift.

2. Your Petition Can Be Prophetic (Expressing God's Intention)

Jesus made it clear that we can ask God for His will to be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven (Matt. 6:10). John wrote, "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."
(1 John 5:14-15, NKJV)

So, our petitions can be prophetic in nature, carrying with them the very power of fulfillment. Knowing that God is good and faithful provides us with a lens to see through (Heb. 11:11). Thus, our prayers are emboldened with confidence!

These insights can be gained simply through studying the Bible, hearing God's voice, our relationship with Him, prophetic words or the timely input of others.

3. Prayers of Petition Release the Resources of Heaven

Asking is powerful! Simply by asking, Heaven's resources – including angels – are released.

Jesus said, "Don't you realize that I could ask My Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly?" (Matt. 26:53, NLT). We see this in action shortly afterward, in Acts, when the Church was praying for Peter, and an angel broke him out of prison.

Through prayers of petition, God releases His power, the Spirit moves upon hearts and divine orchestration takes place.

4. Prayers of Petition Reveal God as Your Loving Father

Jesus compared our requests of the Father with an earthly child asking a father for food. He said, "...how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!" (Matt. 7:11, NIV). Here, Jesus reminds us that our requests are those of greatly loved children!

We are not asking from a position of poverty, lack or spiritual abandonment (i.e., an orphan spirit). No! Our Father is ever-present, ever-ready and ever-delighted to give. We ask from the revelation of our identity as loved children of God.

We know that what our Father has ordered is in the "pantry." It is in Heaven's storehouse, having already been set aside for us, and all we need to do is simply ask.

5. Bold Asking Demonstrates Our Close Relationship

Bold asking comes from familiarity in a close relationship. Jesus said, "No longer do I call you servants... but I have called you friends..." (John 15:15, ESV). He added that friends know the master's business! Then He talked about asking the Father in His name.

It is because of Jesus' sacrifice on the Cross that we can stand washed and clean before a loving Father (John 3:16). And relating to Him as the Father – making requests to Him – brings Jesus joy. So, let's bring back simple petition into our prayer vocabulary and delight in it – because God does!

6. Thanksgiving Will Add Power to Your Petition

When we thank God for answering our prayers before we have seen an outcome, we express our trust in God, because as His beloved child, we know that in the very breath of asking, something good is on the way!

Jesus began His prayers to the Father with thanksgiving (Matt. 11:25, Lk. 10:21, John 11:41). And, at times, He simply thanked the Father and went on to exercise His power, like when He stood before Lazarus' tomb and said, "...'Father, I thank You that You have heard Me'" (John 11:41, NASB), implying He had already prayed – which of course He had.

Thanksgiving is the voice of childlike faith – and the honor of a seasoned prayer warrior.

7. God Receives the Glory in the Answer to Your Prayer

When God answers a simple prayer of petition, who receives the glory? God does. The person praying does not receive credit, for they have simply expressed their dependence upon God. In fact, they may have shared that prayer request with others.

Further, there is no credit given to the "type" of prayer used. And this is a reminder – our faith should not be in the type of prayer we are using! It's true that those of us who have learned more about prayer over the years have many "tools" in our prayer closet. Paul the apostle even refers to various types of prayer (Eph. 6:18).

So, yes, we can step into declarations and prophetic decrees, and release God's word of power. Or we can take a heavenly standpoint for something to be done, when led by the Spirit – and that's the key. However, let's always check where the glory or "credit" of answered prayer is going. It should never go to a "type of prayer," but only to Jesus. Jesus is the only explanation for the amazing miracles that will take place because we prayed in His name!

8. Your Petition Is Simple – It Takes Away “Performance"

One of the things I love about this type of prayer is that even a brand-new Christian or a child can ask this way! No one is excluded.

No formula is needed, just a pure relationship and childlike faith. Our ability to "petition" represents the grace of God in a way that no other kind of prayer can. Plus, it removes fear and anxiety from our lives, as we hand over our needs to God (Phil. 4:6).

Prayer is not mysterious; it is not "deep." Prayer is most powerful when it is simple. So, let's take care not to fall from the glorious heights of simplicity (2 Cor. 11:3); instead, let's embrace prayer in its purest form. In our day, humble petitions made in Jesus' name will release great power.

Something Good Is on the Way

Oh dear one, loved by God, no matter how brief, no matter how inarticulate your prayers – even your tears and cries for help – they are heard by Him.

Perhaps you have been in a low place recently, or have been crying out to God on behalf of someone you love. You can be assured, regardless of what it looks like right now, something good is on the way, because your Father is in the picture of your life, and He is good.

Know that there is a storehouse, and it's open in Heaven. There are supplies with your name on them! There is a provision available for you right now – all yours for the asking – for your Father "owns the store."

MEDITATIONS ON THE TRUE CHRISTIAN LIFE

By Glenn H. Jackson

______...."This book of the law [the Word of God] shall not depart from [always be in] your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful [take heed] to do according to all that is written in it; for THEN you will make your way prosperous, and THEN you will have success".... Joshua 1:8 NASB

DEVELOPING YOUR SPIRIT LIFE

[part 5 of 10]

____2 Cor. 5 : 17 "Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. But all these things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation."

____

Here we get God's new man. He is a new spirit. He is a recreated spirit. His mind is then renewed by this incoming life, as he meditates in the Word. His body is rejuvenated, healed of its diseases, so that the entire man stands complete before the Father. The most deeply spiritual men and women l know are people who have given much time to meditation. You cannot develop spiritual wisdom without meditation.

____Josh. 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate thereon day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." (or, you will be able to deal wisely in the things of life.) Take time to meditate in the Word. Shut yourself in alone with your own spirit where the clamor of the world is shut out. If you are ambitious to do something worthwhile, I would suggest that you take ten or fifteen minutes daily for meditation . . . learn to do it. In other words, begin the development of your own spirit.

____You may develop any gift that you wish to. The most important gift that God has 'ken to you is the spirit. It is time development of this spirit that is going to mean more to your life than any other one things. The great majority of men do not think. They live in the realm of the Senses. The Senses have limitations. Your spirit has practically no limitations. You can develop spirit life until you dominate circumstances. Your spirit can come into vital union with Deity, become a partaker of the divine nature. 'That spirit, with God's nature in it, can fellowship on terms of absolute equality with God Himself.

____Do you see your limitless possibilities?

____Jesus brings us into contact with spiritual things, not mental things. Spiritual things are as real as physical things. Your spirit can come to the point where the things in His Word will become as real to you, and Jesus will become as real to you as any loved one. You can see the necessity of your taking time to meditate, to get quiet with the Lord. You must take time to sit with His Word and let the Spirit unveil His Word to your spirit. If you will, you will know Him in reality.

An Intercessors for America Daily Devotional:
Intercessors Win

By IFA

As more and more documents are being declassified, audits are being performed, and more, it is becoming more and more apparent that former President Trump’s continual cries of “Fake news!” were not mere sensationalism. Indeed, we are seeing exactly what the Bible tells us from Proverbs 10:6:

“Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence” (Proverbs 10:6 ESV).

More truth is coming to light every day that shows us how the wicked, corrupt politicians in America (and their cohorts) are using the mainstream media as their mouthpiece:

•Corrupt politicians are weaponizing illegal leaks to the media in order to go after innocent people.

•Prominent figures in media are married or romantically involved with corrupt politicians, and are therefore roped into fake journalism.

•“Fake news” is being used to manipulate and control the American people, instilling fear, hatred, anger, and paranoia in many that is later revealed to be completely unfounded.

There is little doubt left that the mainstream media is the mouthpiece of the Deep State. Corrupt politicians are not even trying to hide their crimes anymore with actions; they are simply using the words of the media to conceal their violence.

Is this not what God predicted in Proverbs 10:6? That the wicked would not use their actions to conceal their sins, but would rather only use their words—their mouth to conceal their violence? Yes; in their arrogance, the wicked and corrupt puppetmasters of America are relying on the flimsy covering of mere words to attempt gain power and evade punishment.

The good news is that, because the mouth and words of the wicked are a flimsy covering indeed, our prayers can shut their mouthpiece and expose the deeds of the wicked.

We serve a God who shut the mouths of lions.

When Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, God shut the big cats’ mouths such that they did not harm even a hair on Daniel’s head. However, when the wicked were thrown into the same den of lions the next morning, Daniel 6:24 tells us that

“And the king commanded, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and cast into the den of lions—they, their children, and their wives. And before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces” (Daniel 6:24 ESV).

Did you catch that? Those lions were so fierce and hungry that they overpowered the wicked and broke all their bones in pieces before they reached the bottom of the lions’ den. BUT GOD shut the mouths of those same animals and did not allow even a smidgen of harm to come to His prophet Daniel.

If our God can shut the mouths of violently hungry lions, He can certainly shut the mouthpiece of the wicked in America—the fake news mainstream media.

And if God can expose documents and facts that reveal how very fake the fake news is—and how false the accusations of corrupt politicians are—then we can and should pray:

•For God to convict lying journalists and bring them to confess their sins publicly and repent to God and the American people.

•For God to interrupt and silence every lying media broadcast that insists on spreading unrighteousness.

•For God to save every journalist who is willing to be saved.

•For God to remove every journalist who has given themselves over to a degenerate mind, refusing to be saved.

We must have truth in media again, and we must pray specifically if we are going to see this “mouthpiece” of the wicked STOP concealing the violence of the Deep State.

Pray this with me:

“Father God, in Jesus’ name, I thank You that You are the God who shuts the mouths of lions. You are God who saves and spares the righteous in the day of trouble.

So Abba Father, right now, I ask that You would begin exposing the corrupt media just like You have been exposing the corrupt politicians of the Deep State. I ask that every journalist with an ear to hear You and an eye to see You—every journalist who is of a willing heart—would be saved. I ask You to chase after them like the Hound of Heaven in order to convict them of their sins, show them Jesus, and bring them to repentance.

But Father, for every journalist who has given themselves over to a degenerate mind, who will not be saved and refuses to bow the knee to Your Son Jesus, we ask You Lord to remove them.

We speak to every unholy journalist in America, and we say: “Be saved or be removed, in Jesus’ name.”

We speak to every unholy news broadcast in America, and we say: “Broadcast truth and righteousness, or be silenced and removed, in Jesus’ name.”

We speak to every false narrative and every pack of lies that the corrupt news media and corrupt politicians have fostered, and we say: “Be exposed and brought into the light of Jesus Christ. Be exposed for what you truly are, in Jesus’ name.”

Father, we ask that the American people would rise up in absolute outrage against the lies pushed upon them by the mouthpiece of the wicked—the fake news media. We ask that You would pour out Your wisdom and discernment upon all Americans by Your Holy Spirit, and we ask that fake news would no longer be tolerated by the American people.

We also ask, Lord, that righteous journalists would rise up and take every place currently occupied by the wicked. We ask that righteousness and justice would thunder from every media desk in America, and that the airwaves would be filled with holy words, not false words. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that no more would the news media be allowed to push lies and foster false narratives in the ears of the American people.

Father, we ask that You would completely silence the mouth of the wicked that is concealing violence. Reveal and expose every unholy thing that the media has been hiding, and use the truth to set America free into the service and worship of Your Son.

In Jesus’ holy and precious name, amen.”

There Is No Other Name Under Heaven Other Than The Name I Have Given You

By Russ Walden

The Father says today that there is no other name under heaven other than the name I have given you. I have given you My name and ratified the power of My name with the blood of My own dear son. Beloved, if I have withheld not My son from you, then what in your mind would I possibly deny you? If I gave you heaven’s best, how shall I not freely give you every other LESSER gift?

Break down the tyranny of what your mind says and what circumstance may assert contrary to My promise. Know that I am the faithful one who will in no wise cause you to come up short in any area of your life. My love is everlasting love, undiminished by your humanity or shortcomings. You need not earn what is freely given, says the Father. You need not prove your worth, for I have established your worth in the blood of the Son. Receive your answer today. Receive your miracle. It’s no great thing you have asked. My answer is YES!

FIRE BY NIGHT

By Glenn H. Jackson

"Reflections Upon Reflections" [of The Father's Heart]

...."You, in Your great compassion, did not forsake them in the wilderness; The pillar of cloud did not leave them by day, to guide them on their way, or the pillar of fire by night, to light for them the way in which they were to go".... Nehemiah 9:19 NASB

PLEASING THE FATHER SHOULD BE THE FIRST AND FOREMOST AIM OF EVERY CHILD OF GOD

Words of prophecy:

*____As one "abides" in the place of revelation knowledge it is certain that they will be found walking in a manner pleasing to Me - with both feet firmly planted in the Kingdom.

____...."But without faith [love and obedience] it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]".... Hebrews 11:6 The Amplified Translation

One must always be true, first, to the revelation in their heart. Pleasing the Father should be the first and foremost aim of every child of God - and that takes faith [which works by and through Love and obedience].

...."Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight".... 1 John 3:21-22 NASB

Prayer of Proclamation:

____Father, we thank You and praise You that You are a rewarder of all those whose first and foremost aim is to both seek You and please You. Therefore, we set ourselves to exercise an absolute and steadfast faith and trust in You - on every front. And we declare all of these things DONE [on an ongoing basis] in Jesus' Name - to Your greatest Glory. Amen.
