PUSH THROUGH OR STOP?

By Nancy Taylor Warner

The sun was setting, the night air getting cold. As we pushed to get done, we ran into a kink that just wouldn’t resolve. My husband, not a quitter, said, “We are in the overcoming mode!” We chuckled then continued to wrestle.

It got darker and darker. Finally, I said, “I’m done, let’s do this tomorrow.” Knowing I wasn’t one to quit either, my husband queried, “What are you saying?” I responded, “I am saying I think we’re done for tonight!” My husband resignedly looked around and agreed, he too was done! We secured things for the night and headed off to get some rest.

The next morning the sun was shining. Refreshed, my husband had some ideas he’d had time to ponder. As I listened to him work, whistling and singing, this time conquering the hurdles, I was so glad we had taken the time to get refreshed!

This is God’s plan – times of working, times of refreshing. The next night we did have to push through due to inclement weather. But there are times we can stop, get refreshed, then continue. Wisdom, if we’re going to make it for the long haul, is to know the difference! When to stop and when to go!

Had the Lord tarried, my dad would have been ninety-eight this month! During his lifetime he completed almost sixty years of ministry, the last fifteen years being in the Washington, D.C., area. He was still ministering when the Lord took him home!

In 1981 the Lord called me into full-time service. Balance has gotten me through the years and continues to give me strength today. Times of ministry, times apart to pray and be refreshed.

We see many examples of this in scripture. For instance, in Exodus 19:3 and 14 Moses went up to spend time in God’s presence, then came down to minister to the people. In the life of Christ, we see the same pattern. Matthew 17:1, 9, and 14 tells us Jesus went up into a mountain apart to pray, then came down to minister to the people. Luke 9:2 and 10 shows us that Jesus trained His disciples in the same way, to minister and then to take time apart to be refreshed.

I think of my dad and so many others who ran their race before us. I remember them, then I think of all the years behind me, and I thank the Lord for His faithfulness. Then I look with expectation at the years yet ahead!

May we live our lives with gusto! May we find our pattern of ministry, rest, and refreshing so we too can run, not just as in a sprint, but a marathon, making it to the finish line with joy, in the strength of the Lord!

I again see the faithfulness of God as I remember events that led to our being in the D.C. area. Truths I have learned and shared with others have all worked together in my life to bring us to the place we are today.

I also realize afresh we are not here just by accident. We are not here because we decided this might be a nice place to live, or out of a personal ambition or desire. We are here through the direct leading of the Lord and events that unfolded over the course of time. We have continued here out of a desire to be found faithful.

Thirty years ago this month, while we were here in the D.C. area, Parousia Ministries was first formed and recognized as a ministry. May the Lord’s purposes continue to unfold and all that He desires find full expression.

May we all move forward, faithfully following as He leads. We are living in a turbulent time, yet the Lord continues to raise up a people to be carriers of His presence, carriers of His glory. May each of us be found faithful in the place God has us! May we find and sustain consistent times of refreshing, that with vigor we might complete our full course.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing” (2 Thessalonians 3:13).

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

YOUR NEW RESURRECTION SPIRIT, SOUL AND LAST OF ALL BODY

By Ron McGatlin

Are you ready for this supernatural reality of all that God has said and is saying regarding His kingdom now manifesting from heaven on earth?

The fullness of God’s “Reset” or restoration of this world to the original design of the kingdom of God, kingdom of Heaven ruling on earth as in heaven. In other words, this world is becoming heaven on earth.

There is no death in heaven and there was no death for mankind in this world in God’s original design for Adam and Eve and all their descendants of mankind.

Mortality entered creation and God had to shut man out from immortality and the fullness of the kingdom of God reality. Man entered the darkness of sin and mortality entered mankind. Death, sickness, disease and severe hardships became mortal life in the kingdom of darkness on earth.

Our mortal minds cannot imagine life on this planet without sickness, disease and death. Only by the Spirit of God in Christ becoming our inner life can we even begin to see or experience the real kingdom of the LOVE and LIFE of God.

No natural human being can see, hear or believe the things that are just ahead of us and are already now within those unto whom it is given.

TWO REALMS ARE NOW BECOMING ONE

“For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8.

On either side of death, the redeemed of God are alive in God. Plainly said, there is no more death for the fully redeemed sons of God.

We are awakening to the reality of the two realms of Spirit and natural becoming one reality. As the fully redeemed of God, the realm of heaven and the realm of this world are becoming as one.

For the unbeliever, the person that has not yet received or responded to the total love and redemption of God in Christ Jesus, the two realms are as far apart as the east from the west. It is as if the Spirit realm of God does not exist. There is nothing beyond natural earthly existence to the person without the light of the love of Spirit God.

It is in the HOLY SPIRIT that we interact with God and experience His provisions of righteousness, peace and joy now on earth.

The current kingdom of this world that has existed since the fall of man is NOT the order of God.

Yet, the GLORY of the order of GOD’S LOVE is being displayed in God’s FORGIVENESS, total REDEMPTION and RESTORATION of mankind, as a witness to the love and glory of God for all creation and eternity.

Man is redeemed and restored to again return to life in the Spirit with Spirit God in the light and love of being one with God as Sons of God. This is the reality of mortality putting on the immortality that was lost in the fall of man and brought back in Jesus.

Becoming one with God means being a supernatural spirit being filled with Spirit God as a true Son and heir of God. It means being able to see what God sees and experience that which God is experiencing. It means being able to do that which we see Father God doing. It also means walking in the heavenly realm and the earthly realm at the same time as the two actually are becoming one heavenly realm.

DOES THIS MEAN HAVING A NEW HEAVENLY BODY?

Is there really a new body that we are given as we transition from natural life to Spirit life?

We understand that we are a made-new SPIRIT BEING by the Spirit of Christ Jesus, and that our SOUL is being made new to be under the dominion of the Spirit of Christ within, but what about OUR BODIES?

This is truly our next big question about the manifesting kingdom of God among us in this season of history.

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your SPIRIT, SOUL and BODY be preserved blameless at the coming (appearing or manifesting) of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

Just yesterday I had one of those changing encounters with God that have changed my life again and again through the years. The question of our bodies in the Kingdom Reset had arisen within me. I picked up by Bible and read 1 Corinthians Chapter 15 and only partially understood what I read. So, I asked God about it and immediately I received instruction to shut down my computer and lean back in my recliner. I also covered my face to shut out the bright lights in the room. Again, I called upon God, and with two words He began opening my heart to revelation. The words were “spiritual body.”

We now live on earth in a natural flesh and blood body that is in a fallen state and in need of complete redemption and restoration to become as it was before the fall of Adam. Adam’s body was perfectly designed with the realm of creation and with the realm of God. The two realms were one for Adam and Eve before the fall.

THE RESET INCLUDES THE BODY

The great worldwide kingdom of God RESET, last of all includes the restoration of our natural body. Through the work of our new SPIRIT OF CHRIST and the continuing renewing of our SOUL, the believer’s body is gradually moving toward being changed to become as before the fall when there was no death or sickness in mankind.

“Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-26.

All those who have died in Christ will be resurrected in their “spiritual bodies”.

1 Corinthians 15:42-45: “So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”

Those alive in their fully redeemed natural bodies without sin or the effects of sin are becoming the same as those who have died in Christ and resurrected in their spiritual bodies.

Our mortality has put on immortality as the true Body of the resurrected Christ Jesus. By faith, we can now become Sons of God with the resurrected life of Christ Jesus abiding within us. There is no more death for the true Sons of God, but only a transition to our spiritual bodies in the twinkling of an eye.

There are spiritual bodies and there are natural bodies. Yet, they become the same as the two realms of natural earth and Spirit heaven become one in the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

The created world restored as made-new to “as it is in heaven”, and a restored mankind made fully alive in Christ Jesus, in whom and by whom all things are made new on earth is the reset to the kingdom of God on earth.

1 Corinthians 15:51-58: “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory. ‘O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?’

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

Whether we are alive and changed or have died in Christ and are resurrected there is no more death in the fullness of the world reset to the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

Yes, all of this and much more is in the process of coming forth now and will have continuing levels of fulfillment on a worldwide scale.

However, the fullness of all things is now available within those who have ears to hear and eyes to see into the Spirit realm. In the Spirit now, all things are available and possible today by faith for those who truly believe. Full healing and divine health along with sufficiency of all things and all power to be and do all that we can see the Father doing is fully here by simple child-like faith and trust in the full reality of the love and power of God.

There is nothing lacking and nothing to wait for. Today we are the Sons and Daughters of God and the instigating source of releasing the kingdom of God into the world around us by the omnipotent power of King Jesus working in and with us. Love opens the way and releases all of the kingdom potential in all who will believe.

All things are possible to those who truly believe.

The love of God never fails,
And His kingdom never ends.

this is so beautiful and such a testimony to the Lord's healing power and sanctification through our suffering. Much of my walk with Christ is similar to yours.
