Are We Desperate Enough?

“This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.”

—Romans 13:11

When George Washington was fighting in the Revolutionary War as the general of the Continental Army, he had a special flag prepared with the words, “An Appeal to Heaven.” Washington understood that our only hope to become a nation was through God’s intervention.

We still need to appeal to heaven for our nation today.

In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (NKJV).

There’s no question that God has blessed our nation in so many ways. We even sing about it: “America! America! 

God shed His grace on thee. And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea.”

But I believe America needs to wake up spiritually. Romans 13:11 says, “This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed” (NLT).

It’s time for us to wake up. It’s time for us to turn back to God. Will God send a spiritual awakening to our country? I don’t know. I hope He does. I hope He sends one or two or three more.

Chuck Smith is regarded as the father of the last great spiritual awakening known as the Jesus Movement. I once asked him whether he thought we would ever see another Jesus Movement.

“I don't know, Greg,” he said. “I don’t know if we are desperate enough.”

How desperate are we for God to send another spiritual awakening? If we are desperate enough, then we’ll start praying about it. This Fourth of July, I’m praying that God will send another spiritual awakening to our nation. Will you join me in that prayer?

Efficacy - The ability to get a job done to a desired or intended result.

Latin - efficac meaning accomplish.

Eph 3:20 Now to him who is more than able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that proceeds from My mouth, it will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please, and it will prosper where I send it.

God’s Sovereignty is Most evident in this New Era. His Voice is as Many Waters. Seeking out His Remnant, His Receptors that receive “The Way’ word, that open pathways and networks that infiltrate Kingdom advancement. Thus The Father’s Hearts desires becomes fulfilled with the Godly intended result. 

The Efficacy Power of God is to initiate response! His manifold manifestations will ‘ruffle up some feathers,’ He is coming to rile those who sit upon ‘the religious seat,’ by His spontaneous and unorthodox demonstrations of power. God’s Word is Powerful and Effective. There is a great urgency in this hour and He is seeking His supernatural responders.

The Efficacy of The Blood..The Wonder Working Power of The Blood, manifests for the intent purpose of All who receive Salvation and The Fullness of the Gentiles is complete in Christ. 

The Efficacy of God’s Supernatural Power adheres to the person/s, situation or circumstance, causing spiritual effect that produces Godly Transformations. New Efficacy Power has been released in the order of New Reformation. His Mighty Rushing Waters of The Spirit and The Word - United Power of God. His Covenant Promise was not to flood the Earth again, but, Behold The Mighty Waters of The Spirit and The Word. They are The Living Agreement of Faith, that All things are possible. 

The Greatest Efficacy is The Power of The Blood. The Way of The New Covenant. The End Time Efficacy is a Threefold Supernatural Movement. 

1. The Spirit and The Word 2) The Spirit of Prophecy 3) The Spirit and The Bride. A Three Fold Cord bound by The Spirit.

The Volume and Spiritual Capacity has increased in this Era, not only to withstand the wiles of the evil one, but to yield and surrender unto Him and having full confidence and ability to perform The Word of The Lord. His scroll is rolling out quickly and I see His Omniscience Compass that breaks through boundaries and knows no end. His Commands strike the mark..this is Efficacy Power..Striking the mark with cause and effect in order for His purposes to be accomplished.

The Alpha and Omega, The River of Life..Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
